Register for AAOM 2021

Where will AAOM 2021 be hosted?

The Virtual Annual Meeting will be hosted online at mclms.maaom.com for both live and self-study registrants. Only registered attendees will be able to access the site content. Login is required.

How many CDE credits can I earn?

The American Academy of Oral Medicine designates this activity for 16 continuing education credits.

How can I attend AAOM 2021?

You can attend the Virtual Annual Conference in one of two ways: Live or Self-Study. Each have different requirements in order to obtain CDE. You may choose your preferred option when you register.

Live Attendees Must:

  1. Be present for each individual session
  2. Attend each live Q&A
  3. Complete session evaluations for each session

Self-Study Attendees Must:

  1. Review each session PowerPoint presentation
  2. Watch session recordings
  3. Complete (and pass with 100%) a brief post-test for each session

Where is my CE information stored?

Your CE information will be automatically added and stored within your AAOM member or non-member profile. AAOM members may also easily access CE information from the AAOM Member Center.

FAQs: Live Attendee Option

When will I be able to access the session portal?

Our virtual doors will open about one hour prior to the beginning of each day. 

What if I have difficulty finding the live session links?

Each morning of the event, you will receive an email with direct links to access the sessions of that day. If you still cannot access the sessions, please call the AAOM office at (206) 209-5279 or email [email protected] with subject line: "AAOM 2021 Access Issue."

I registered to attend live but no longer can. Can I switch to the self-study option?

Yes, so long as you contact the AAOM office with your change request prior to Friday, April 1.

FAQs: Self-Study Option

Will all session recordings be available?

Yes. Session recordings and PowerPoint presentations will both be provided for you after the live event.

When will I be able to complete the self-study?

The self-study will be made available after the live event has concluded on Saturday, April 17. Access will remain open for self-study participants for three weeks and will close on May 8.

I registered to attend via the self-study but I would prefer to attend live. Can I switch to the live option?

Yes, so long as you contact the AAOM office with your change request prior to Friday, April 1.
