Mark Drangsholt, DDS, MPH, PhD

Dr. Drangsholt graduated with honors from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1984, completed a residency at Michael Reese Hospital/Medical Center in Chicago in 1985, and began a private dental practice in Kent, WA, which he continued half to full time for 10 years. He completed an MPH in Epidemiology in 1992, a residency in Oral Medicine in 1995, and a PhD in Epidemiology in 2004, all from the Univ. of Washington. For the past 20 years, he has provided patient care in the Oral Medicine Service and now at Center for Pain Relief, both at Washington. His practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of orofacial pain, oral mucosal lesions, and other oral-facial disorders. He is a Director and Secretary of the American Board of Oral Medicine, author of over 80 scientific articles, 8 book chapters, over 120 published abstracts and has given over 130 presentations worldwide.
