Assistant Professor in Oral Medicine, Pathology and Radiology Division of Oral Medicine, Pathology and Radiology Department of Orofacial Sciences University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)The Department of Orofacial Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Oral Medicine, Pathology and Radiology at the Assistant Professor rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.
This position’s primary clinical responsibility will be based in the Sol Silverman Oral Medicine Clinic (Parnassus campus), providing comprehensive patient care with a focus on oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland disorders, and oral manifestations of systemic disease. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to the division’s missions in clinical care, education, and scholarship, and will participate in the education and clinical training of students and residents within the School of Dentistry and affiliated programs. The Division of Oral Medicine, Pathology and Radiology has a distinguished history of advancing oral healthcare through clinical innovation, education, and research. The division is internationally recognized for expertise in oral manifestations of systemic disease, oral complications of cancer therapy, oral mucosal disease, salivary gland disorders, Sjögren’s syndrome, and HIV-related oral disease. Faculty within the division maintain close academic partnerships with UCSF Health, the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the UCSF School of Medicine. The division also collaborates extensively with the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and other UCSF programs and centers, supporting a highly interdisciplinary clinical and research environment.
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the [health sciences compensation plan](https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
