Job Description: About Us: South Sound Oral Medicine is a premier, privately owned specialty clinic located in Federal Way, Washington, dedicated to the non-surgical management of complex orofacial disorders. We bridge the gap between dentistry and medicine, focusing heavily on orofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders (TMD), oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland dysfunction, and dental sleep medicine. The Role & Schedule: We are seeking a dedicated Associate Oral Medicine Specialist to join our growing practice for a long-term commitment. This is a full-time, W-2 role featuring a highly desirable Monday–Thursday clinical schedule, providing a 3.5-day weekend every week.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

Must-Have Qualifications:

•Graduate degree in Dentistry (DDS, DMD, or equivalent).

•Certificate from a CODA-accredited Oral Medicine residency program.

•Board Certification or active Board Eligibility by the American Board of Oral Medicine (ABOM).

•Strict availability for full-time, on-site employment (Monday–Thursday). Part-time or modified schedule requests will not be considered.

•Must reside within a sustainable daily commuting distance to Federal Way, WA, or be willing to relocate prior to the employment start date.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•Proficiency in diagnosing and managing complex orofacial conditions, including TMD, oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland dysfunction, and dental sleep medicine.

•Active licensure to practice dentistry in the State of Washington.

•Experience operating within a medically focused administrative and medical insurance billing framework.

•Alumni of the University of Washington Oral Medicine program are highly encouraged to apply.
