David Rich

David C. Rich joined GNYHA in 1993. He is responsible for all of GNYHA's legislative advocacy, as well as public and member communications. Prior to joining GNYHA, Mr. Rich was the Senior Federal Legislative Assistant for Health and Welfare for Governor Mario M. Cuomo in the New York State Office of Federal Affairs, where he advocated on behalf of the New York State government before Congress and the Executive Branch. Prior to that, he was a Senior Legislative Assistant to US Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, handling health, welfare, and education issues. Mr. Rich earned a BA from Columbia University.
